My New Hobbies?

I used to take at least 2 hours to groom Smoochie when he was in full length coat with a handsome topknot. Yeah, that was really long ago. I stopped keeping his long coat after my dad moved in with us.
Handsome Smoochie, Sleepy Twistie
Annie from APC is our furballs' groomer. Time flies, I still remember the first time I met her, I was still a nursing student. She is a wonderful pet groomer, lots of TLC and patience. Most of the time I saw her handled dogs, they become so tame under her care. That's why I always think is not easy to become a groomer --->IS GIFTED. Not every groomers can tame dogs like she could.
So since I've stopped working, I have plenty of time with S & T. Smart Ben bought me something today and told me to start learning how to clip them. Don't worry, I am not professional but I do have 5 years experience of grooming a Shih Tzu. I was taught about the basic grooming -clipping nails, pucking ear hairs, cleaning ears, shaving the front muzzles...
The purpose of the clipper is not so much of saving cost, I just need to clip their hairs regularly, esp. Twistie for his skin problem, it will make it easier for us to apply oilment and checking on his skin pigmentation. As for their bi-monthly full grooming session, looks like it may be every trimonthly.
Haha, we are still loyal customers to APC!

Twistie's hair are like cotton, beary cute right? but difficult to maintain.

Now I am going to share about maintaining their coat. Ans: Good shampoo, conditioner and supplement--> SG Flaxseed Oil (Smoochie loves it). Why am I so proud about it? I ever lost Smoochie for 4 days and how did I find him back? A neighbour of his "new owner" told me his existance at the neighbour's house and wanted to know how did I maintain his coat!
Their food? SG Holistique Blenz Adult Dog (Fish). I believe in giving them good food, those funny brands out there are cheap as they contain bi-product, additive and high in sodium. So expensive? Is never cheap to keep a dog as your pet and why keep a dog if you can't afford to give him/her a good life?
That's why I always say," if you think is expensive, you shouldn't have kept any in the first place."
