Häagen-Dazs

Tuesday, September 30, 2008

Today clinic was really busy, as most muslim staff went on half day leave and I got "stucked" in the room with Dr Nancy right after my break at 1pm. She is really a very nice doctor and she laughs a lot! So sorry for not able to pick up calls and plentiful of messenges in my inbox, yeah, about 50 of them. Please allow me to reply you all after my hectic day, I still have 2 more boys to settle after work. Oh, talk about after work, Ben and I went to Häagen-Dazs as I wanted so much to eat their ice-cream *remember my voucher?* We were told that the fondue can feed 4 pax and we called Margaret immediately !

You could tell, we were having a great time at Häagen-Dazs!
Sinful Sinful.. We spent $53 for the fondue.. It was really nice and we will definitely come back with Cheryl!

Here you are..

I don't remember when did I take these photos but I feel bad for myself. My health was bad, my BP was higher than my peer. So, if you wanna lose weight, for whatever reasons,

YOU CAN DO IT IF YOU REALLY WANT TO!

Okay, I know, Ben said you guys are going to laugh at me, I am fine, go ahead and laugh your lungs out.hahahaa..I am wondering what the heck was on my ex's mind. Oh well, I am getting convinced now that his taste isn't that good anyway. - Said Ben. *so mean*

Photo taken in 2004

Where are the PHOTOS?

Sunday, September 28, 2008

I remember promising my readers to post my "72kg look" photos once my site traffic hits 5k, I know it hits 20k now but I just couldn't find my photos... because I (am very sure I)didn't even dare to take photo in that year. BUT, not to disappoint all my loyal readers (who keen to know how fat I was in the past)... I found 2 photos... very gross, worst than those photos I posted last year.

STAY TUNE !!

Tumbling Tower Time

Uncle Ben played Cheat!!!

Hahahaha...we all had fun playing the tumbling tower!!

Surprise Surprise !!

We decided to give mum a surprise - To Celebrate Her 56th Birthday, actually not one surprise but TWO!

First, we told her not to cook and our weekend gathering will be over our place on Saturday. Of course, I will be the one cooking. Ben was very kind to accompany me to do some marketing at Cold Storage and NTUC as he knew I can never carry all the bags on my own. Yeah, we took a cab home after that.

What's for dinner? LAKSA!! Eh...don't ask for recipe because I used premix and add other stuff. *come on, one man show leh, use only 4 hours, ok?*

I know I know, no big deal right? This is not the first time cooking dinner for 10 persons, so what's the surprise?

Tadah !! Peach Longevity Bun from D'Bun ! Mum was so happy! And our second Surprise - ICE CREAM CAKE for mummy!

Although it was a failure but mum never complained and she never did, I remember

- Baking numerous non edible stuff and wasted more than 50 eggs, she always says," Try again tomorrow.."

- During my Sec, I was so FAT that I still thought I was a pretty girl, why? Because no one(in the family)ever tease me. Of course now I know I was indeed SUPER DUPER FATTY BOOM BOOM. I was so touch when she told me she will definitely send me to Marie France..

- I SPENT $800 yakking on the phone with an idiot in my Poly 1st year instead of buying myself an air ticket to London but mum didn't scold me.

- I drove our Toyota out without license and banged against the lamp post, causing a big hump at the front and headlight was gone, mum said," you're so daring.." I thought she was going to wallop me! Maybe she would if it is dad's Merz..hahahaha... joking, I didn't get to drive daddy's Merz because I don't have the guts to get a car license after that accident. *chicken la*

Yeah, that's our mum... Happy Birthday Mummy!!!!

"Instead of normal polishing, we send them for deep polishing and it will be 90% new but then again, it will still be oxide and you must wrap them up with tissue paper before keeping them individually in their pouch."

Damn, Ben is paying $60 for polishing these 3 pieces and polishing used to be FOC, yeah, 3 years ago? No way, I got my bean in year 2006 and another one in year 2007. Bullshit! Next time don't buy anything from T & Co..*besides ring, I'm eyeing at a simple ring, did someone mention I can get them cheaper in US?*

Waraku Time

Okay, no more delay. After Ben assured me that he is feeling much better and wanna go out for brunch, we hopped onto a cab at 1040am and we were the first customer who paid at their newly opened branch at The Heeran. As expected, the food was fantastic and we got a 50% of return, in term of voucher. So, what are you waiting for?

Green Fingers?

So who has green fingers? NOT ME!Remember my little herb garden at mum's place before I moved? I actually left them there for mummy to look after and now... I am such a lousy gardener, my mint died last month. Sorry, mum!

After trying Yomeishu from Jpn, I decided to get DOM from France for Ben as he doesn't like the taste of Y. *so fussy*

Momiji

Came across these cute dolls at one of the store last week. These super adorable Momiji dolls are made from wood and superbly hand-painted. Each doll imparts her own life message and has her own personality. There is also a hole in the base of each Momiji contains paper for your own secret message. Interesting, right? I think selling at SGD29 each is a little bit too steep. (cheaper if you get it online). Besides, there are also other products ranging from paper, lotion, bag, mug and even little compact mirror.

Door Stopper

cute? SGD3.50 each at Spotlight.
