A Good PD?

Someone was asking for a good pd. Okay, I am not paid to advertise for him anyway. BUT, he is good. I mean, a very good doctor to his patients but not to his nurses - sorry Dr. Lee. Haha.. His new pte clinic is located at Camden Medical Centre,One Orchard Boulevard. Oh, forgot to mention, he is Dr. Warren Lee. Looks familiar? He was one of the Member of Parliament for Sembawang GRC..actually, he is quite well known.

Headache Management Diary

The pain was unbearable and I hate that feeling. Thank god I didn't throw out. SSN Chua immediately got me panadol and my pain score went from 8-6. I took a cab home eventually. Ben quickly rushed home with dinner and he fed me with piriton. Yeah, that's the only sedative I have with me. Don't worry, it is a super mild sedative but good enough to terminate the pain -sleep. A senior pharmacist ever told me, it is always good to stand by a few drugs (midazolam, ativan, xanax) especially for patient like me as I have very bad migraine, clinically known as Ocular Migraine and whenever the pain comes, it can last for hours and all I wish to do is sleep. The funny thing is, this time round, there wasn't any aura to warn me to pop medication prior to the attack. Now I have started to have a little diary for me to record each attack.

It is Negative

Diana : Baby..
Ben : Why, honey?
Diana : It is negative.
Ben : It's okay, honey. We will try again, all right?

I was so upset when I saw one line on the kit. Sigh.. but I am glad there are actually nice people around me, giving me support and encouragement. Some even joke that maybe our little one "wants to be a holiday baby".. Anyway, thanks for all the kind words..

We will be staying at Embassy Suite San Rafael, ok, I know, there is nothing to shout about, I think St. Regis in SHA is so much better but... we are going to stay in VENETIAN HOTEL in Las Vegas for 5 nights!! yeah..one of the best hotel in vegas...

Pulling out my Luggage !

I was shopping with C and N at Orchard. There were more than 5 missed calls from Ben. Here came the 6th call..

Ben : Baby, can I ask you something?
Diana : *die, he is going to scold me for not picking up his call again* Yeah, honey?
Ben : Can a woman go on to a flight during her first trimester?
Diana : *eh,he didn't scold me?* I think it is not advisable. Why?
Ben : Oh, then you cannot go oversea with me this Nov.
Diana : *huh? Am I pregnant?* Honey, I am going with you and I don't think I am preggy now.
Ben : Okay! Then we are flying to San Francisco & Las Vegas coming Nov!

WOw! I still remember I was envy those who went on holidays after the Natas Fair early this year(Especially Wendy, who is going to spend her holiday in US). Some went to Eastern Europe, some went to Central Europe, some went to "factory outlets" to shop till they drop and some showing off that they walked on the beach. Damn... When is my turn? I thought we could go Japan ( cancelled because of cov), Taiwan (cancelled because of renovation) and now, I am thrilled because it is finally my turn to fly!

Okay, what am I going to buy this time..

- Coach, maybe because I am not a "coach person" and too many aunties (at their 50's)carrying.

- Oshkosh

- Calvin Klein and many more..

Places we are going to visit will definitely be Golden Gate Bridge (the landmark), Universal Studios(Ben's request) and of course...

Las Vegas Premium Outlets!!!! Oh..it was only 8 min away from our hotel.

Okok, go slow girls...if you need me to buy things back, be nice to me, I mean, extra nice..hehe. As discussed before, a long hours flight of 20-24 hours, SQ is our first choice, kiv United Airline but need to transit at Narita Airport for 2 hours and I hate United Airline. Damn.. Actually I shouldn't be ranting too much about this as the whole trip is almost all paid by hubby's company because they are sending him there for the autodesk university trade show, of course hubby is paying for my shopping and the entrance fee to the theme park. This will be our first trip to US and I am overjoy now!!!!

Be a Teacher?

My jaw drops when I saw this invitation. Don't get it wrong, it is not meant for me but my lovely Ben. Haha..I can't imagine if Ben is a teacher. I always think that it is a noble job, they spend so much time with the students, plenty of (foc)tuition classes even after school, travel to school almost everyday DURING HOLIDAYS ! And one more thing I admire the most - they speak very good English! I regular blogs and some of them are teachers( including my sister), I always enjoy reading them! and do you all know that this " mumbai ah,indian.." is a lecturer for Economics in Raffles Junior College? He is also a theatre coach who writes and directs theatre plays and runs the Multimedia Theatre in the college *and daddy loves this adv*
