The Banquet Set-Up

Our Big Date 26th may 2007

Now we are preparing for our big day on 26th May 2007. So excited. Have shortlisted a few Hotel for our banquet, first choice is Grand Hyatt , second choice will be Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel, last choice will be Plaza Park Royal . Yes I know both are very "different" type of Hotels, is either I get a super 5 stars or just a ordinary Hotel. Well, I'll discuss with hubby later.

But we've signed a contact with
Dang Bridal , from the start till now, she is the only bridal designer I am comfortable with and I've only visit this Bridal Shop. I know is good to go around and see others but I am just too lazy and I am not so particular about gown, as long as I look great in it, that's my dream gown. Ben told Dang that I wanna look like a princess that night and she is aware that I need to bring my gown overseas for photo taking, she has an idea how to design my gown. I never thought of buying my gown until I saw hers, well, now, to make thing easier, I'll just purchase it and bring in to Aus and M'sia.

It's so COLOURFUL!!

Tuesday, April 11, 2006

I am wearing a pink, I have a new toy - piglet, was a gift from Ben last weekend. Our ROM theme - pink, lilac, purple...The main thing is still, my HAIR! I went for colouring today and the lady was so nice to do my hair from 830pm to 11pm.it looks like I've done the rebonding, too bad is late now, if not I will wanna walk around with this look, so pretty!! Total damage : SGD97, cheap as this is just a neighbourhood salon, did I mention Ben's hairstylist is Desmond from Le Salon. He charges SGD99 for guy haircut.*jaw drop*

I hope Felicia, my ROM make up artist will turn me to a pretty bride on Good Friday. Can't wait to collect my Ring Pillow tomorrow, is purple in colour.
Chloe will meet me at Outram Mrt at 1800hours. After that, we'll be heading down to Orchard Delfi Fairy's Inc to collect our customised wedding bands, which engraved with elvish font. The first sentence is engraved on my band while the second sentence is engraved on his.

"fate, when two souls meet

marriage, when two becomes one"

Solemnization preparation - location + Catering + Deco

Monday, April 03, 2006

Finally, we've decided to get Four seasons Catering Pte Ltd to cater the food for our guests on solemnization. The menu are
(A) Noodle / Rice - Kampung Fried Mee Siam
(B) Chicken - Four season Chicken
(C) Fish - Sweet & sour Fish Fillet
(D) Beancurd - Mixed Shrimp Beancurd
(E) Vegetable - Oyster Siao Bai Chye with Mushroom
(F) Deep Fried- Dynasty Chicken
(G) Extra - Braised Sea Cucumber
(H) Dessert - Sea Coconut with Sliced lemons
(I) Savoury - Steamed Crystal Dumpling
(J) Prawn - Crispy Prawn with Butter Milk
(K) Drink - Fruit Punch

I've seen their presentation, quite nice. Food looks and sounds tasty and is not halal, don't know for what reasons, some always tend to think that caterers with halal sign don't cook well, well, as for me, there isn't any muslim around.
To update : My guests are Very Happy with the food - highly recommended!

Our location will be at Monterey Park Condominium, thanks to my lovely cousin brother and cousin sister-in-law, they are so nice to help us to book the function room. This is their new condo, they used to stay at a condo at Balmoral Road, we feel so paiseh as they haven't even hold the house warming party yet!

The feeling is different now...

Sunday, April 02, 2006

I... am kinda down now. I am getting married and in my heart, I am very excited, that's for sure. I have no idea why am I feeling that way but I know, no matter what, I have to keep it to myself.

Today, I went to Cheryl's 1 year old birthday party. Don't really feel like elaborating more as I know, someone is updating or I should say broadcasting to the whole world how it has been.

Many things happened lately, maybe I shouldn't use "ed" as it is still happening. So stressing, and I actually broke down during the mass prayer on last Saturday. How embrassing... I really don't know how to let it out. Due to my last minute schedule changes, I didn't make it to the mass today. Oh god, please forgive me.

Can anyone tell me how to be a good girl, good daughter, good wife and a good furmama for Smoochie and Twistie. I have been spending time cleaning the house and working daily, I didn't really spend time combing my two little babies and I even changed my mind not to celebrate our 4th year anniversary when Ben actually asked me out for a nice dinner, only for the two of us. I must say I am very proud having Ben, he has been with me through all the ups and downs. Ben, I felt so bad for not hugging you much lately but I know, I know you will definitely say," is okay, baby.."

I am very tired, really tired of everything. I want to go back to the ward and visit my ex colleagues, I miss them, I wanna buy them cake, but I really can't afford to as I am very tired and my memory is so bad that I have to remind myself everyday the same old things.

My ROM date is really drawing near and there are still many things to be done, so many appointments to be made. The worst is, I am sick now! I can't even shop for items that needed.

See our little star !!!

Thursday, March 09, 2006

This is how Cheryl looked like when she was only 1.5 months old, chubby right? I still remember I received this on my 23rd Birthday, which is on 21st May, please remember that, okay?

These photos taken during the CNY, see I promise I'll post some photos to show off her beautiful blouse and skirt bought by her mummy.

Now our little Cheryl is a big girl with all the pig tails! Hahaha, grandaunty tied for her and she enjoys a lot.

I am out of WARD 48

Wednesday, March 01, 2006

I'll be leaving my fellow colleagues soon, 10th will be my last day in the ward. I don't really great but too bad, I just can't stand working with that old woman. Actually, there are a few old women that I just can't work with.
I got reply approximately 2 weeks back, the NHC SOC nurse manager met me and we had a talk over the trasnferring matter. She is fine having me over soc and of cause, the happiest one is Ben, he always hope I can join his friends' outing, now I can because I won't be on shift working anymore, it will be a 9am-6pm working hours, Sat 9am-12noon for every third Sat. I'll be having breakfast with my little hubby every Sunday. =)

Working in Wd 48 is very very hectic, I feel bad for the rest, let's just hope the management can be better and give us(them) more staffs, we really can't work with only 4-5ppl each station at each shift!

My Valentines..

A very sweet guy booked a room in a hotel somewhere at Havelock Road on this day. Guess what, we had a wonderful dinner at Clarke Quay, strolling along the Singapore River, he popped the question while I was complaining of headache. "Do you still feel headache now?" at the same time showing me the ring which he bought a year ago. Of course my headache gone immediately! I remember very well that I was smiling and smiling and smiling, and he asked me," will you marry me?" that's it!! And I said ,"YES!"

I knew somehow he is going to propose to me, especially when he asked me if we wanna spend a night in a hotel. For the past 3 years, we didn't really celebrate V'day, of course this is the most memorable and the sweetest one.
