Coincidently, it falls on Halloween..but parents wanted to go M'sia so we decided to dine out a day before instead.

We got Mark to reserve the room for us and he said it is going to be a surprise, okay, here we are, at the 785sqft City Suite, charging at SGD850/night. As expected, the service is excellent! How do I put it? " THEY NEVER SAY NO TO MY REQUEST "..so far.. Oh, they make me feel like a bride again! Hahahaa..
See this, I wanted to give Ben another surprise at the cafe, I secretly told the waitress, Lily to get me a piece of cake with a candle while Ben was away. Ben was so sharp, he didn't hear our conversation but he read my "sign language"! Before he blew the candle, Lily immediately took out a digital camera and took a picture of us. We thought they will send the photo to our suite later BUT she actually handed it to us after 5 minutes! We were delighted and she even bother to find out each customer's name, yeah, she addressed me as Mrs. Goh when I was requesting my cake. We compliment Lily for her outstanding service.
After a sumptous dinner, we went back to our tidied room and found a bottle of red wine. Hmm, I don't remember ordering any so Ben called the receptionist and found out that Mark reserved the suite under "wedding anniversary" and the wine is for celebration..how thoughtful..
#2 - Dinner, Mark was kind enough to make a reservation for 2 of us on that night and it will be on the house. Shall we go for Cherry Garden or MELT ?#3 - Singapore Flyer! Ben is totally clueless about the #3 surprise ..hahaha.. He keeps telling me not to buy anything for him and he keeps thinking that I am going to hire a sexy girl to dance naked in our room! *fat hope*
Why did I post this when it should be a surprise to him? Oh, have I ever mention Ben doesn't read my blog? 
We decided to give mum a surprise - To Celebrate Her 56th Birthday, actually not one surprise but TWO! Although it was a failure but mum never complained and she never did, I remember
First, we told her not to cook and our weekend gathering will be over our place on Saturday. Of course, I will be the one cooking. Ben was very kind to accompany me to do some marketing at Cold Storage and NTUC as he knew I can never carry all the bags on my own. Yeah, we took a cab home after that.
What's for dinner? LAKSA!! Eh...don't ask for recipe because I used premix and add other stuff. *come on, one man show leh, use only 4 hours, ok?* 
I know I know, no big deal right? This is not the first time cooking dinner for 10 persons, so what's the surprise?

- Baking numerous non edible stuff and wasted more than 50 eggs, she always says," Try again tomorrow.."
- During my Sec, I was so FAT that I still thought I was a pretty girl, why? Because no one(in the family)ever tease me. Of course now I know I was indeed SUPER DUPER FATTY BOOM BOOM. I was so touch when she told me she will definitely send me to Marie France..
- I SPENT $800 yakking on the phone with an idiot in my Poly 1st year instead of buying myself an air ticket to London but mum didn't scold me.
- I drove our Toyota out without license and banged against the lamp post, causing a big hump at the front and headlight was gone, mum said," you're so daring.." I thought she was going to wallop me! Maybe she would if it is dad's Merz..hahahaha... joking, I didn't get to drive daddy's Merz because I don't have the guts to get a car license after that accident. *chicken la*

My first impression : so cute! We are glad and really looking forward the game, counting down, 10 more hours to go, Ben and I will sit tight, with popcorn, drinks, chips ... (a typical couch potato, haha) so anyone dropping by tonight? Guestroom is really !
You are not going to believe this, Ben is going to Little India to celebrate a little girl's birthday and I really wonder, well, you know, the jam(NE line), the human traffic. I shall not comment much but why celebrate on this day? (her bday is definitely not on 0908) Haha.. hope Ben can come home on time so we can watch the ndp show together.

Any ideas how to celebrate? No more durian cake for sure as daddy doesn't eat durian. Since it falls in the month of June, maybe we should...
