They are so pretty and nice to be eaten, I thought it would be easy to make but I failed my first attempt - too hard. Not too happy with my second attempt too - too soft!

I did Loreal Extenso 3 years back, June 04. Here were the Pre and Post, I like the effect and I looked so much younger after straightening my hair. Oh Boy, now the wedding ceremony is over and I can really "play" with my hair! Total Damage :SGD157 including GST at YESS Saloon. Any comment?

Some called it Onde Onde and some called it "oneh oneh". I've never like gula melaka and this is the first time I make Ondeh Ondeh. Mum was helping me with the ingredient preparation and Ben was busying snapping.
Our Recipe
-200gm of sweet potato(steamed and mashed)
-250gm of glutinous rice flour (shifted)

Mix (B)
-Pinch of salt
-50mls of water
-1 tbsp of tapioca flour
Filling
-150gm of gula melaka
-Pinch of salt
-50mls of water
-1 tbsp of tapioca flour
Filling
-150gm of gula melaka
Combine
-Coconut(grated)
-Pinch of salt
First, prepare ingredient B. Some will advise to boil them in a pot but to me, need not boiled water, can gradually add hot water into the bowl with flour, remember to stir it till it is transparent.
Then, add ingredient B(bit by bit) into the glutinous rice flour follow by mashed potatoes. mix them well until it forms a dough. Do take note: if you feel it is too wet, add more glutinous rice flour. If it is too dry, add a little ingredient B.
Roll the pieces of dough into small balls (ping pong ball sized)with your palms. Then flatten the ball and put a bit of the grated gula melaka in the centre. Pinch to seal, then roll again into spheres.
Drop the balls into boiling water until they float to the surface.
Roll them with fresh grated coconut as coating.

My New Baby
Thousands of kisses to my first baby, BEN for getting me a baby girl named Saumur! It was a gift for me after a hardwork preparing our wedding. You know, lack of sleep, lots of stress and sweat and tears...Thought it looks small but it is not on me.. So, for those we want to know how was our honeymoon? I would say, is okay to have it later. We've bought cute Thank You Card from Takashimaya yesterday. I've also make a reservation at a restaurant near Sixth Ave for a farewell dinner tomorrow. Obviously we are going to give them a treat, together with my father, who has just been discharged from SGH today. He missed the wedding ceremony as well as the wedding dinner due to his health condition. Although we've been asking for "home leave" on our big day but was rejected by Dr. Leong SS and we ended up having the tea ceremony in the his single room, together with our photographer, Wayne. We hope to see everyone tomorrow night and also hoping that it doesn't take to long for us to see each other again.

Went to Dang's place again to collect my gown, the rented KUA and Ben's suit. We'll need to come back tomorrow for the bouquet, corsages and car decor. We have Chris's Corolla as our bridal car on coming Saturday and the car decor was actually complimentary from Dang. HOW NICE~
Tomorrow will be a busy day for us for sure as we need to collect our rented car and photos as well. We will have to make a trip to Wayne's studio to pass him our Solemnization photos as well.
Gosh, many things on mind and many things must be done by tomorrow...How I wish I can be like the Monkey God, he can do SO MANY things at one time, if you watched his show.

These are the place cards I've prepare for all my guests. Just like the guestbook, is a little bit self service kind. You've gotta look for your name on the card and the table no is printed on it too. Grab and look for your seat!
For all these little paper that most people will think it is so easy to prepare. I TELL U WHAT, IT IS NOT AT ALL! It took me so so so long to complete them as some guests will just always give you surprise now and then, even until today....so the table no. keep changing according to the floorplan. Gosh, can you imagine?
Well, I can't stop things from happening, come what may.
Let's see how many cards will still left on the table on this coming Saturday.
