Happy Nurses' Day!

It's 1st August tomorrow and our department staff actually collect money from all of us to give our nurse manager - Sister Lim Suh Fen, a surprise! There were some sinful food - Meesiam, chocolate cake, kuih, chichau with aloe vera and of cause, for healthy reasons, we had kiwi, strawberries and persimon as well.
Hmm, did I mention we have 14 cakes and lots of chocolates this year? Thanks Prof Koh, Secretaries, SN Chew GP, patients.... and there goes my waiseline..

Cream Cheese Cupcakes

I was trying out a new recipe today - cream cheese cupcakes and it turned out to be something unexpected. Yes it is still a cupcakes and some may say edible, but to me, I just couldn't bring myself to have the second bite. I was totally speechless and dissappointed. Besides, I failed to make the buttercream frosting as well. I am so upset today.

I've decided to let Dang to design a gown that suitable for me, she said I have nice clavicle, you can call that "collar-bone", halter neck is a no-no to me but a V-neck would be a good idea.

Cupcake

I am now falling in love with cupcakes, esp. the mini cc. Ben and I baked some over the weekend and of cause, IS YUMMY! I tried a little and the texture is so soft. I am selling my cupcakes, if you are holding a party, Baby Shower Party, even wedding favours, buy my cupcake and you won't regret. It comes in few sizes from mini to jumbo.

Oriental Garden Suite

So lovely, really fall in love with this suite. There are actually two door and the suite is in L-Shaped. Very exclusive as I've mentioned as there is this pre-dinner function are for guests to mingle around.

This is the black theme and most likely we are not going choose. Photos taken during evening. Obviously can't see anything outside the windows but there will be small light around.

We went to Oriental Hotel today to meet up with Mark Chan, the wedding coordinator. He showed us around and WE REALLY LOVE the garden suite. Saw the picture? He is willing to throw in perks on top of the package and each table is more than $1k, to be exact, is $1026 after taxes. He brought us to the Bridal Room to show us the presentation and really 2 thumbs up, the food looks really yummy! Very exclusive and with the renovation, this is really a very very classy and beautiful hotel. No more guests (from Marina Square) abusing the "public toilet" as they actually sealed up the entrance from MS. The ambience is really make my jaw drop. All we need to do now is to view the bridal suite and sign on the dotted line. Can't wait to see the bridal suite, hopefully by next week we will settle with the venue selection, finally...

This gown is so nice and gorgeous, I'll show it to Dang on next appointment to consult if my figure looks nice on this design.

Here are some pictures taken during my first consultation with Dang, I love duchess satin!! Yet to decide the designs, most likely will choose a ballgown design, princess neckline is common, but I think I look good with it. Saw the girl in RED behind, she was giving me the look that I am not suitable to wear this beautiful gown, yes I have to admit that my back is fleshy as this gown was made to measure for another slimmer bride, Dang was letting me to try it on as I told her I love duchess satin, what the h*ll.

I love Great Singapore Sale

I still remember Ben applied Citibank credit card last 2 years before GSS as I love shopping and he actually sub a card for me. Please don't call me shopping queen as I've retired! I seldom shop nowadays and to prevent us from having debts, we only use credit card when required and YeS, he signed his card for my second baby - Burberry. Got it at a very low price, I simply love GSS.
